Sarah Cimino

Makeup Artist

Sarah Cimino is a N.Y.C.-based makeup artist specializing in theater makeup. She received her BFA from N.Y.U.’s Tisch School of the Arts Experimental Theatre Wing, and makeup certification from MESS Makeup Studio and Make-up Designory Soho. Cimino has been a member of the Juilliard Drama faculty since 2009 as a stage makeup instructor, and since 2010 has supervised the Wig and Makeup Shop in Juilliard’s Production Department.

In addition to her work at Juilliard, Cimino is the company makeup artist and makeup designer for Company XIV. Her additional theater credits include Santa Fe Opera, Gotham Chamber Opera, Princeton Opera Festival, Curtis Opera Theatre, Mannes Opera Department, Manhattan School of Music, Lincoln Center Theatre, Broadway’s Mary Poppins, New York City Ballet, and the Lunge Dance Collective. She has led makeup workshops for MAC Cosmetics, N.Y.U. graduate costume designers, N.Y.U. graduate acting department, Manhattan School of Music, Juilliard Dance, and Juilliard Vocal Arts. She is also a stage makeup instructor on the faculty of the Tom Todoroff Conservatory in New York City.
