In Episode 17, acclaimed costume designer, Bina Diageler and I talk about her work on Tár with director Todd Field and the minimalist approach to Cate Blanchett's Lydia Tár which contributed significantly to the performance that is many people’s favorite of this year. Bina and I also talked about her work with one of my all-time favorite directors, Pedro Almadovar, her upcoming project on Cristóbal Balenciaga, her Netflix show 1899, and her breathtaking work on Mulan.
